There is a great variety of marine life encounters on Grand Cayman's reefs. The fish and critters are amazingly docile and welcoming. Surrounded by glittery Silversides and magnificent French Angelfish, Large silvery Tarpon hover motionless mid water. There are lots of huge Barrel Sponges and swirling schools of fish. You may also enjoy observing Gorgonians and hard corals thriving in the clear, warm waters.
Cayman Islands boast so many dive sites with abundant underwater life that you won’t be disappointed no matter where you go. Diving and snorkel operators head to different spots on a daily basis, so if its variety that you are looking for, they surely have it! In case you like to see or capture on film a particular type of marine life, just mention it to your dive/snorkel operator and they will give you the best advice on where to go. And the main advantage is that such a site is not more than a few minutes offshore.
