Dry Suit Maintaining
Taking Care for your Diving Suit
You should take care and do not wear garments which give off fibbers since these may clog the dry suit exhaust valve thus hampering its efficiency or worse still, jamming it open or closed.

In case the exhaust valve is jammed open, the suit will leak and cause the diver to get wet with a probably serious loss of body heat; if it jams closed, it will prevent the diver from venting air and this could cause the diver to have an uncontrolled ascent with potentially harmful consequences.

Cleaning
It is essential that the wetsuit is thoroughly washed after the dive - both inside and out - in order to remove any sea water absorbed by the neoprene material. The suit should then be hung up on a padded coat hanger in a cool, well-aired room well out of the sun's heat, since neoprene will perish if exposed for any length of time to direct sunlight.
